The cities of Lille and Roubaix are united behind one goal : to develop the art and practice of textile design by offering support to new fashion designers, to give them the opportunity to contribute to the resurgence of northern France’s textile industry.
In Roubaix, the “fashion district” stretches between the train station and the Grand-Place, in the same neighbourhood as La Piscine.
Within the “Vestiaire” or from inside their studio-boutiques, the designers behind Maisons de mode invite you to come and discover their one-of-a-kind creations.

In the ripples of this largescale movement, artistic initiatives abound : galleries, artist studios and interior design shops complete the Maison de Mode picture and firmly establish the area as a veritable site dedicated to all things creation.
